Step-by-Step Application Process
Register Birth at Local Union Council
Register your newborn child at your local Union Council or Cantonment Board to get an official green Computerized Birth Certificate displaying your child's full name in Urdu & English.
Gather Parents' Original Smart CNICs
Both father and mother must have valid, unexpired NADRA Smart CNICs. If parents are married, their marital status must be updated in NADRA records.
Visit NADRA Registration Center (NRC)
Either father or mother (or legal guardian) visits the NADRA office with the Union Council birth certificate and parents' original CNICs.
Data Entry Verification & Printing
The officer enters the child's data. For children under 18, biometric fingerprints are optional unless applying for a Juvenile Smart Card. Verify spellings on the printed draft.
Collect B-Form Document
